SHEA'S WEEKLY SCHEDULE 6/11-15 A DAY:  M, W. F French Chemistry (Adv Weight Lifting) B DAY: l Tu, Th US History Algebra II English (Choir) What Happened Monday: French - Shea handed in her missing journal entries but left her impressionist drawing at home.  She plans to see Ms. Bender Tue morning (even though she doesn't have her class) and hand it in.  Shea admitted that she hasn't started her final exam project so she will have to really buckle down on this assignment to get back on track.  With the volume of work she's had her situation is understandable. Chemistry - I needed to drop off a check for Shea's lunch account so I got to see Shea right after the Quad Quiz.  She was not encouraged.  She said the quiz only at two questions, and both look a little foreign to her (this after 5-6 hours of studying Th and Su).  She ran me through one of the problems which, if she remembered it correctly, she got right.  She was worried b/c she spoke w

F French Chemistry (Adv Weight Lifting) B DAY: l Tu, Th US History Algebra II English (Choir) What Happened Friday: US History - continued to work in class on her project.  She has decided to do a scrapbook and now has all the physical material she needs after doing a little shopping with Mom this weekend. Algebra II - The class got a final exam study guide in addition to the QUEST review sheet already provided.   English - continued work on podcast Work Completed this Weekend: I had work-related events Fri night and on Sat through 5pm.  By Sat night Shea said she did a little work on her US History project and some Alg II problems from her study sheet.  She picked back up starting at 3pm on Sun and finished her French journal entries and Adv Weight Training assignment, and then we had a 2.5 hour study session for the Chem Quad Quiz on Monday.  She is strong on solubility curves and mass by percentage (esp.

SHEA'S WEEKLY SCHEDULE 6/4-8 B DAY:  M, W. F US History Algebra II English (Choir) A DAY:  Tu, Th French Chemistry (Adv Weight Lifting) What Happened Thursday: French - Substitute teacher as most of Ms. Bender's class went on a field trip.  Shea still needs to hand in her drawing and 3 journal entries Chemistry - Shea said Mr J postponed the Quad Quiz until Monday b/c most of the class was not prepared.  Shea understands most concepts but is struggling with the material referenced in an email I sent to Mr. Juhl Fri morning: Wed night I helped Shea study for the Quad Quiz but she said it was moved to next Monday.  She is doing fairly well with Solubility Curves and Percentage by Mass when the amount of solution is given in grams.  She is struggling with Molarity, but I think I understand it well enough to help her this weekend.   Shea and I are struggling a little on determining Percentage by Mass when the solution amount is given in liters or mL. 

SHEA'S WEEKLY SCHEDULE 6/4-8 B DAY:  M, W. F US History Algebra II English (Choir) A DAY:  Tu, Th French Chemistry (Adv Weight Lifting) What Happened Wednesday: US History - Continued work on project.  Shea decided to do a scrapbook on her topic, Journalism in Vietnam.  Mr. Mal approved. Algebra II - Shea said that Ms. B reviewed the simplifying radicals assignment.   Shea said she was not focused and had a hard time following along.  There is a quiz on the material on Friday, so Ms. Ryan will hopefully be able to come tomorrow.  It will be a tight schedule, with Shea having a Dr's appt at 2:40 and required to be at school for a Choir presentation at 6pm.  Maybe Ms. Ryan can come from 4-5:30.   Shea has a worksheet to complete that contains the material that she needs to know for the quiz. English - There was a sub for Mr. Norman.  Shea worked on the podcast some and apparently watched a movie as well. Work Completed Wed Night: French - Illusionist

SHEA'S WEEKLY SCHEDULE 6/4-8 B DAY:  M, W. F US History Algebra II English (Choir) A DAY:  Tu, Th French Chemistry (Adv Weight Lifting) What Happened Tuesday: French - Ms. B emailed to say that Shea did very well on her Toulouse-Lautrec presentation this morning.  Ms. B hadn't had a chance to grade the presentation but said she felt like an A. Chemistry - Shea said that she was 20 mins late to class after being excused early from First Period to attend Choir practice (for the Choir performance tomorrow night).  Shea said Mr. J went over Worksheet 5.4 and which is due as HW on Th (along with optional 2 questions on 5.8).   Shea received her Solubility quiz back and unfortunately got a 54 (6/11).  She was on track on 9 of the 11 questions but made small mistake reading a graph which cost her on 3 questions (could have been an 87). F US History Algebra II English (Choir) A DAY:  Tu, Th French Chemistry (Adv Weight Lifting) What Happened Monday: US History - Shea said it was a free period to continue work on her project.  She said nothing is due next class.  Google Classroom says the following: Algebra II - Shea said that Ms. B went over the 2.10 assignment.  Shea said she got a few of the problems wrong.  She will go over these with Ms. Ryan if we can work out scheduling tomorrow.  (Ms. Ryan is supposed to come over at 4pm but Shea has a doctor's appt at 4pm).  Shea wrote down the new assignment for Wed in her agenda and also that there is a quiz on Fri, but she was a little confused b/c she heard talk of a second quiz this week, which would have to be Wed.  She will text Alyssa and also ask Mr. Ryan about this mystery second quiz.
