What Happened Wednesday:
French - not sure, continued work on impressionist painter project.
Chemistry - Mr J sent the following email about class on Wed:
Just a heads up in case Shea has not shared this week's syllabus with you. She has a quiz on Friday on solubility curves. The class did an experiment on this concept last week and started working on problems/calculations related to that concept yesterday. The remainder was to be finished for homework that's due at the start of class on Friday. There will be a final Q & A on the topic before the presentation of the assessment, so Shea should make sure she does the work today/tonight.
Mr. J confirmed that Shea cannot retake her Quad Quiz on Gas Laws. Shea and I will study the Gas Law quizzes this weekend with the expectation that the material will be on a final exam.
Work Completed Wednesday Night:
US History - Shea turned in her Reflections assignment today in school and got full credit. She also got a 90 on her Cold War essay, bringing her overall grade to an 88! Seems she is moving along on her Vietnam essay per Google Docs.
Algebra - Shea studied with Ms. Ryan for about 90 mins. (Check work done - expect that they went over 2.10, review sheet and new worksheet? Also may have gone over Quiz 2.6-2.8 - she got a 28/54 (52) which dropped her overall grade from a 99 to an 87.
Ms. Ryan said that she graded Shea's 2.6-2.8 quiz and lost all her points on the solving by square root method. She said Shea should put that skill on hold until she studies for the final because the class has moved on to new concepts such as imaginary numbers. Consequently they did not review 2.10 item #1 or the 2.6-2.8 quiz review sheet. We set this work aside for use in prepping for the final exam in a few weeks.
The new work, 2.10 Item #2 is shown below:
Shea Also created the following note pages for later use with imaginary numbers and the quadratic equation:
English - none
Due Friday -
French - Trolousse Letrec presentation?
Chemistry - Solubility quiz
