What Happened Tuesday:
US History - Shea said the class continued work on their projects (Shea's is Journalism in Vietnam). She said she used another source (online) and printed out the supporting materials. I noticed that she got a 0 on the Reflections #1 assignment on PowerSchool - I emailed Mr. Mal who said that the class was given the assignment in Th's class to simply write down where they were on the project. I asked Shea about it and she said that Mr. Mal was out and a student told the class about the assignment (?) and Shea wasn't sure if it was actually due. Fortunately Mr. Mal said Shea can hand in the assignment for credit by next class. Time permitting Shea will do this tonight and email it to Mr. Mal.
Algebra II - Incredibly, Shea said that Ms. B went over the Rule of 4 assignment but she could not find it! I organized all her work over the weekend, even making mini folders for each individual assignment. It was all laid out on the kitchen table this morning, and wasn't there after Shea left. It will be interesting to see if the work is right there in her HW folder. Shea said that Ms. B did not collect or really even check whether the class did the assignment so she does not expect to get a 0. Shea did that assignment twice now and should know the material. She will also be meeting with Ms. Ryan to go over it, the review worksheet and worksheet 2.10. She also was given a new worksheet due on Th.
GREAT NEWS! SHEA GOT A 17/17 ON HER REVIEW QUIZ #1 AND A 79/80 ON HER QUEST RETAKE! HER OVERALL AVERAGE IN ALG II IS NOT 99.85! WOW!
English - The class listened to another podcast. She is up to date on her podcast script.
Work to Be Completed Tonight:
French - none (night off from Trolouse Letrec project)
Chemistry - finish Solubility worksheet, will go over Gas Law quizzes this weekend
US History (Time Permitting) - finish and submit Reflections assignment.
