Work Due Tomorrow:
French - Ms. Bender confirmed receipt of Shea's worksheets due 5/7 in 5/8 email:

I got her HW for French. Thank you. Monday's homework for French (due tomorrow) is to study for a quiz on the present subjunctive (regular verbs only). Also, students did research in the media center about Paris in the second half of the 19th century  and Impessionism as an art movement.(she has the ws guide). We will be discussing these topics in class tomorrow. I hope she is soon feeling better.

Shea said she's ready for the quiz;

Chemistry - Shea completed most of Lab Analysis (still needs to complete the graph which she will do before 1st period on Wed when she sees Jake) - Shea said Jake was able to obtain some(?) of the data from the lab last Th.  Shea and Jake stayed after school Tu to work on the assignment but apparently didn't get as far as graphing the results.

The last photo shows my comments after reviewing Shea's work.  It seems pretty clear that Mr. J would want to see different variables (almost all of Shea's are the same).  Also, her explanation of the relationship between Chemistry and Physics seemed very general, so I provided some specific thoughts relating what actually was going on in the lab for her to consider.

Note about missing data: No emails from Mr. J despite sending two additional emails requested lab data:

(From KMB to Mr. J) I stopped back in the school office at 2:20pm today after picking up Shea (she had a fever and left early).  I was trying to get a word with you to obtain the data set from the lab last Th--Shea said neither she nor her partner recorded the data.  If I understand correctly Shea can't complete the lab analysis due Wed without the data.  I understand from Melissa in the office that you were going to call the office to see what Shea needed, but I know you were working with AP students and it appears you weren't able to make that call.  Melissa said that she'd email you as well--hopefully Shea's request is clear but if not please email me and I will get right back to you.

From KMB to Mr. J)I  have a little more information from Shea that may help resolve the data issue.  Shea explained that each group was responsible for recording the data for their rockets.  Shea said that her group (Shea, Jake, Jessie) launched about 15 rockets but were responsible for only recording data from two launches.  No one in her group recorded the data, but Shea said that her two data sets were recorded on the white board in the Chemistry classroom.  She is hopeful that the data are still on the board.  If this is not the case, please let us know.  If the data are still on the board, is there a good time for Shea to take a picture of them?  Also, if the data cannot be retrieved, can the Shea and/or the group redo the lab to complete the assignment?

Despite Shea's concern over the data, she was able to complete the assignment

Work Due Thursday:
US History - DBQ Planner (Shea said she'd send me the DBQ, but for right now I just have a placeholder
